New Patients
Welcome — We're Glad You're Here
Your first visit is all about getting to know you. Here's everything you need to know before you arrive.
What to Expect at Your First Visit
Your new patient exam is a relaxed, no-pressure appointment. Here's how it typically goes.
A Warm Welcome
When you arrive, Annalise will check you in and get your paperwork sorted. We keep wait times short — if you've completed your forms online ahead of time, you'll be seen right away.
X-Rays & Photos
We'll take a set of digital X-rays and photos so Dr. Evans can get a complete picture of your oral health. This usually takes about 15 minutes.
Your Exam with Dr. Evans
Dr. Evans will review your X-rays, examine your teeth and gums, and ask about any concerns you have. She'll explain what she finds in plain language — no jargon.
Your Treatment Plan
If any treatment is recommended, Dr. Evans will walk you through the options and timeline before anything is scheduled. Annalise will review costs and insurance coverage with you. You're never pressured to commit on the spot.
Your Cleaning (if time allows)
Depending on your appointment, a hygiene cleaning may be included in your first visit or scheduled as a follow-up with Ira or Jessica.
Insurance & Payment
We work with most major insurance providers and do our best to make billing as straightforward as possible. We are also accepting the new Canadian Dental Care Plan.
Direct Billing
We offer direct billing to most major insurance providers, so you only pay your portion at the time of your visit.
Coverage Questions
Not sure what your plan covers? Annalise can help you check your benefits before your appointment so there are no surprises.
No Insurance? No Problem.
We see patients without insurance and will provide a clear cost estimate before any treatment. We also offer a small 10% discount for non-insured patients.
Accepted Payment Methods
We accept Visa, Mastercard, debit, e-transfer and cash. Payment is due at the time of your visit.
Patient Forms
Save time at your appointment by completing your new patient form before you arrive. It only takes a few minutes.
If you'd prefer to fill out your forms in the office, just arrive 10 minutes early and we'll have everything ready for you.
